The long awaited summer is here and poochie likes spending it on the front porch, no doubt to give passing dogs an ear full, if you know what I mean.

Chihuahua Flower

 

All geared up for spring! I was goofing around in my graphics programs, the flower was made in Inkscape and I added my chihuahua's face to it in Photoshop Elements.

Peek A Boo

I probably posted similar photos before, but I think it looks so cute when she pokes her nose out from under the covers. She's keeping tabs on what's going on around her, lol.

Chihuahua Clipart

I drew this Chihuahua in a free vector graphics program called Inkscape that I'm learning how to use. Vector graphics are scalable meaning that they could be enlarged to whatever size without and loss of quality. Browsers can't read vector graphics so they need to be converted into a format that will enable browsers to display them such as jpg, gif or png. My little chihuahua is a gif. Um, not the little weasel, I mean the cartoon chihuahua here.

Speaking of the little weasel, she's been snoozing under her blanket, I guess she's waiting for spring like the rest of us. Anyone who wants to try out Inkscape can download it at inkscape.org

Does your dog have one of those toys that's so worn out and dirty it's only fit for the garbage but you don't have the heart to throw it out because your dog loves it so much? Well this is my chihuahua's donkey and this is how she carries it around the house. By the way, any advice on how to wash stuffed dog toys?

Designated Dangerous Dog?

A 3 lb. Chihuahua by the name of Molly was designated a dangerous dog after biting a postman in the ankle. Tiny Molly now has to be muzzled when out in public and her owner must take out a one million dollar liability insurance policy. Silly but true. Don't believe me? Read it for yourself  here

Shannon acts big and tough on the front porch but while on a walk in the park the other day she encountered a pack of big dogs out on a stroll. She was so scared she didn't know what to do and hid behind a rock. What a big tough chicken!

Secret Mission

The nose knows, don't ya know? The paw print blanket keeps my Chihuahua well camouflaged so that I don't notice she's keeping tabs on what I'm doing, with her nose, lol

Look What I Found

Do you ever cringe at the thought of what you might find in your dog's doggy bed? I just found a rotten plum under the blanket of my Chihuahua's dog pillow. The little weasel must have sneaked it in after being out in the backyard.

Digital Chihuahua Portrait

What do ya think of this Chihuahua portrait? No, my Little Shannon hasn't grown more fur, I was experimenting with making digital pet portraits on my computer that have a more modern look than the ones I normally make for framed ceramic tiles and this Chihuahua is just one of them.

There's not as much of a selection on mug styles in my printfection shop as there is in my zazzle shop but their bright white 11 oz 15 oz ceramic mugs are quite nice and lower in price but certainly not in quality.

Plumber For Hire FREE Dog Traning Included

Boy did I get a deal when the plumber came over to fix the toilet. The repair took him only around 10 or 15 minutes but he was here well over half an hour training my dog to accept him. And it seems that he has a knack for it too, after a while my chihuahua began to bark less and even shut up for a few minutes. I gotta check around the house for more plumbing repairs we could use, maybe in the process my dog will finally become a respectable canine citizen, lol.

Love At First Sight

I needed to get something from my old laptop and I found this photo of Little Shannon when she was a wee pup. Is she cute or what. The photo was posted online by the breeder, I answered the ad soon as I saw it and two weeks later she was mine.
