Chihuahua Police Dog

A 6.6lb. long haired Chihuahua by the name of Momo (means peach) became Japan's newest police dog when she passed the search and rescue test, she found a person in only 5 minutes.

The pint sized dog will be used in rescue missions after disasters in the hope that she will be able to get into areas too small for other rescue dogs to enter.

This story is great! All breeds and sizes of dogs can make great scent dogs - the training is key! We use Bloodhounds and mixed breed rescue dogs to help sniff out lost pets - http://www.PetSearchAndRescue.com

Wow, I had no idea that dogs were used to find lost dogs.
